Serve the City Food Drive
As part of our call to see heaven come to Boston, we want to serve our city and meet the tangible needs of our neighbors. We will be collecting food donations to distribute to Haley House, a local nonprofit that operates a food pantry in the South End and distributes food to students in need at Boston Public Schools. Please take a look at the list below, and bring food any Sunday before November 23!
Non-Perishable Food Items:
Please check expiration dates before donating.
- Canned goods (soups, meals in a can, tuna, chicken, vegetables, etc.)
- Tip: Choose cans with easy-open/pop-top lids — these are much more accessible for unhoused clients and those with disabilities.
- Rice
- Bags of beans
- Cereal
- Dried fruit or dried meat
- Squeeze applesauce packets
- Peanut butter
- Granola bars
- Oatmeal
- Juice
- Crackers
- Bulk snack packs (chips, cookies, biscuits, pretzels, popcorn, etc.)
- Gluten-free items
- Tea or coffee
- Pasta, pasta sauce, or mac and cheese
Toiletries (travel-sized preferred):
Please ensure items are unused and unopened.
- Shampoo
- Conditioner
- Lotion
- Deodorant
- Toothpaste
- Toothbrushes
- Shaving cream
- Razors
Monetary Donations:
- Gift cards to grocery stores, pharmacies, or dollar stores are always helpful.

- (Financial contributions help Haley House purchase food from larger distributors and allocate funds to the areas of greatest need.)
